Hi ,

We are unable to do any changes in XML through debug or UI and Import XML is also failing with below errors. SailPoint IIQ version 8.4 is currently deployed through containerized approach.

Error :

The system has encountered a serious error while processing your request. See your system
administrator.

There are no errors reflecting in logs

Please suggest how to proceed for this issue.

Hi @Deepamv77,

its strange that you dont ahve any errors on logs.
For more info you can see the console of browser (F12) and check if there you can find something else.

Also, its seams you need some library or you some corrupted file.

Please check one more time the logs on server and syslog from Advanced analytics

It seems to be nginx issue not IIQ as you see 500 is thrown by nginx not by the tomcat so i would start with verification in nginx config is correct.

Hi Deepa,

Just try to do the same operation logging in individual node.

We have experienced same behaviour on entitlement import operation later we are able figure out that timeout error caused by load balancer.

Thanks,
Swathi

Hi @SRchalla ,

Yes entitlement import is also working fine and any custom xml import is also working fine . We are facing issue with only OOTB xml import.
So currently checking on nginx config file for syntax errors as suggested by @kjakubiak .

Hi @enistri_devo ,

Sure will follow this, but currently nothing was showing on logs and advanced analytics syslog , except nginx error on UI.

Also check the load balancing scheme. Sticky/Persistent Sessions is needed.

Hi All,

Thanks for the inputs
We checked for syntax in nginx file and its correct as below, so we tried bypassing nginx config by pointing to sailpoint in our nginx config file and the import is working fine .

in future if we need nginx only , how this can be achieved?
