Configuration Parameters

If an API endpoint does not send expected error codes to flag failure conditions, you can manually configure error codes. The following code example lists possible HTTP error codes/ messages an API endpoint might return, which can then result in the failure of operations.

This is the companion discussion topic for the documentation at https://documentation.sailpoint.com/connectors/webservices/help/integrating_webservices/additional_configuration_parameters.html

A post was split to a new topic: Question about the createAccountWithEntReq attribute. Docs unclear

Hello @angelo_mekenkamp,

Thanks for questioning this. This feedback allows us to look at our docs from a different perspective. I created CONDOCS-6753 to track the work to clarify the docs where they’re unclear, and possibly note behavior with some edge cases.

I’m also going to move this to the ISC Discussion and Questions - SailPoint Developer Community category to get more help from the community.

Hi all,

Please see the release notes from the previous week:
https://community.sailpoint.com/t5/SaaS-Release-Notes/SaaS-Release-Notes-June-13-2025/ta-p/269176

It mentions escapeQuotesInRawBodyPlaceHolder, but I could not find it in the configuration parameters, or anywhere else in the documentation. It would be a shame if this neat functionality loses awareness over time due to it only being mentioned as an archived release note. Can you please add it to the documentation? And perhaps check if and why this one was missed to prevent other cases if applicable?

Also, is this supported only for the older Web Services Connector, or also for the newer Web Services SaaS connector? If not, why not? Shouldn’t these two connectors be as similar to each other as possible?

Hi Angelo, we will be adding this to the documentation and verifying it is applicable to the SaaS version of the connector.
