Background:
When someone transfers to a new position, they currently keep their old access as well as gaining the new access per their new role.
A transfer certification is then issued to remove all the old access.
The Ask:
I am looking for a way to add a custom tag or feature to certifications where it will show on the transfer certification wheat is “new access” versus what is access from the previous version.
Is this possible?
Did you created any custom certification definition ?
You can add an extra column for Certification, such as “Previous Version” or “New Access.” Using the CertificationItemCustomization rule, you can set the values for these custom columns.

you can write certification customization rule and add your custom code but this will really become complex based on tour requirement , rather i would say use the ootb functionality each certification item will have button to see the history and that history can tell you if this item was part of previous review and all .
