a salesforce certification campaign has been active since a month and there are 371 managers need to review and sign-off but as this is a first ever iteration with salesforce and audit team is out of due date as it is already surpassed it.
managers wont get any weekly reminders because due date is surpassed way back.
it started on July 19 and its Aug 30 and status is completed -153/371
at this stage salesforce team wants to go back to old school manual certification process.
so concern is what will be the impact for
the decisions made by signed-off certifications and user accesses
also what will be the impact on the users if we delete this on going certification
my understanding is that decisions will retain with the signed-off manager subordinates and no decision will impact/have effect on not completed signoff campigns if we delete it ?
Revokes decisions should automatically be processed when the reviewer Signed-Off on the campaign.
You may want to Complete the certification rather than Delete it. If you Delete it, you will lose the records of the approvals and revocations that occured prior to deleting the campaign.
Deleting the campaign should have no impact on any accounts that were waiting on being reviewed, or if the reviewer hasn’t Signed-Off on the campaign.
Completing a campaign would keep the Approval and Revocation information that has been finished. Depending on how you setup the campaign, you will also be given an option to Complete & Maintain Access or Complete & Revoke Access.
