Banner Notification

Hi All,
Has anyone implemented banner notifications in IIQ? I would like to display an information banner on the homepage to notify users about updates (like where we are having certain changes or announcements). Is there a standard way or best practice to configure this?

Hey John,

Are you trying to instantiate a custom notification, such as a toast notification when a user takes an action?

Or are you looking for an ever-present window where you can post updates asynchronously. i.e., a user takes no action but an administrator pushes an update or a set of back-end conditions are met pushing an update?

Can you give me an example of a use case?
