Applications on the identity cube

Hello Community,

We have noticed an unusual behavior on our tenant and would like to know if anyone has experienced something similar.

On our tenant:

  • We have configured several Applications, and each of these applications has Access Profiles that contain entitlements coming from our Active Directory Source.

  • In the Active Directory source, under the Connections tab, we can see all the applications that are related to this source.

  • However, we have observed that many of these applications appear (if not all of them) as linked to identity cubes, even though the identities do not have any Access Profiles associated with these applications.

In other words, the identities are shown as being related to these applications even though no entitlement no Access Profile and no Role granting access to these applications is assigned to them.

Since these applications are based on Active Directory entitlements, and the Active Directory source lists these applications in its Connections, it almost looks as if the applications are automatically associated with the identity cubes through the AD source, rather than through the Access Profiles.

Has anyone please encountered the same behavior, or does anyone know if this is expected behavior in ISC?

Many thanks,

@khda_itr it depends on what you select in the configuration .if you select all users it will point to all users of that source

There must be link between the application and the cube. ISC would not conjure up associations out of nothing

Hello, thank you the problem was solved by selecting “Specific Users” instead of “All Users”
