API for App Management on IdentityNow

Hi All,

Is there any v3 or beta API availble for creating an application and adding requestable access profiles to that application on IdentityNow? I have gone through the v3 and beta APIs but couldn’t find any API for app management. It would be great if someone can provide me with the right API endpoint and request body for this.

Hi Shanmukh,

There is no beta or V3 API for applications at this time. The only way to interact with applications via API is using the /cc API. Our SDKs do support the /cc applications API.

Hi @colin_mckibben,

Thanks for your quick response. We will leverage the cc APIs for now. However, as you know cc APIs are reaching end of life so, would there be APIs created for the cc APIs that doesn’t have any alternative v3 or beta API available? For example, currently, APIs like refresh single identity, app management, load accounts, reset aggregated objects and list cloud rules doesn’t have any alternative APIs.

If we deprecate a CC endpoint, it will appear in this category: Non-Public API Deprecations - SailPoint Developer Community Forum. Some of the ones you listed have a v3 in progress, and will appear in the deprecation category at some point. Applications, however, have no intent to be deprecated at this time.
