Add Entitlement Passed in Event

Hi Folks,

Would need your help to clear my understanding regarding Event data in Search.

If you check the below screenshot, “Add Entitlement is Passed” for AD source in SailPoint but when we check AD logs there is no entry of SailPoint Service Account adding any Security Group to the given user.

So does this mean that, event logs only shows that “Add Entitlement Passed” from SailPoint, it doesn’t guarantee that the operation has been executed on AD and provisioning is successful or not.

Is this the case really?

Till date, I was thinking that event log shows if operations are successfully executed or not, but these screenshot shows otherwise.

Can someone please shade some light.

Hi @maheshtare ,

Can you check the events page of the particular identity or click on the event, you may see the error occurred during “ADD” operation.

“Add Entitlement Passed” is the name which says that there is a request for adding entitlements which is given, but after that if there are no events happened, it seems that there is an error in which the event got stuck with.

Hi @GOKUL_ANANTH_M ,

I checked individual event data but there is no error mentioned over there, that is why I am confused with the behaviour.
