We just upgraded from 8.2p6 to 8.4p2. I was able to enable the access history but I am not able to see any data prior to when I activated in the access history module. Does anyone know how to customize this so that I can see access requests that exist for an identity prior to when access history is turned on?
did you try running the dispatch access history task?
Hi Sunny, thanks for the reply. Yes, this task is scheduled to run daily. Still only seeing events that happen after the Discovered Identity date and time

the Access History feature will collect all the relevant information from that point in time onward when it was initiated.
It is not able to extract that data retrospectively.

That makes sense. It uses an attribute such as “significant modified” to detect substantial changes and store them in the access history table—something that wouldn’t apply to older data.
Thanks Daniel for the reply. It would have been nice for it to be able to detect past identity requests, events, certs, etc, but I’ll let the client know this is currently a product limitation.
