When working in our Sandbox today I saw an option under Admin/Access Model/Launchers. I am looking for some documentation on this option on Compass and the Developer forms.
My question is what is this feature and what problem is it trying to solve for?
What are some real world use cases for this feature?

One of the use case I have been testing is to launch workflows manually rather than using trigger to launch the workflow. This can also cater the requirement to launch Forms by end user which is for now only available for Admins through widgets.

The Launchpad is where you go to perform tasks made available to you by your administrator.
This page displays a list of Launchers, which are used to initiate an interactive process.
An interactive process is a workflow defined by your administrator to enable you to complete a task.
The interactive process displays progress messages as the task is performed and might display forms for you to fill out during the process.
