Has anyone explored the VNDLY module for Workday to manage contingent worker populations?
Can these contingent records coming from VNDLY be aggregated through the same source as the standard workforce or do they exist in a separate location within Workday?
Any insights would help.

We recently did a VNDLY implementation with our existing Workday source. In short, yes, the VNDLY CWs come through the OOTB Workday connector the same as Employee records.
For our situation, what we ended up doing though was creating a second Workday connector so we could have one Identity Profile for Employees and one for CWs since their LCSs and access are different in our situation.
In the Workday connector settings, there is a flag under connectorAttributes/Configure_Response_Group called “Exclude_Contingent_Workers”. We set this to ‘true’ on our Employee connection and ‘false’ on our CW connection. There is also a second flag called “Exclude_Employees” and we set the inverse for this flag on each connector.
