VMware to sailpoint IDN

We are doing migration in our project and want to check below:

1: Can VMware tools be deployed to the VAs in sailpoint IDN.
2: Does the VAs support the VCDA(Vmware cloud Director Availability) migration method of talking a copy of the VM, shutting down the source VM and standing up the copied VM in target? or duplication of these VM’s not supported?

Hi @Aakansha_Sahu,

  1. You cannot install anything in SailPoint VA externally.
  2. Based on the architecture, Lift and Shift should be supported as there’s not any such dependency. However, installing a new VA isn’t a tedious process, I am wondering for the use cases of such requirements
