Hi Everyone, My requirement is to provide view only rights for the report results. User must not be able to modify or run the report. But I dont see any capability or SP rights which provide read only access.

May I get some suggestion here, how can I achieve this?

I believe the simplest and the fastest solution would be just to select person as recipient of the report and send it via email from IIQ

Thanks Kamil for the response, but we have to enable this for auditors so need to find other ways not by including in the email.

Let me know if you have any other though on this.

HI Ashutosh, Thanks for responding. I have gone through to the link and implemented also.

But If I provide same SP rights to the report and the user, user is able to see the report under “reports” tab which i dont want.

If I remove the SPright and only having matching scope, user cant see the report result.

Please do suggest further, if you have anything in mind.

Hi @saloniGupta,

Simplest solution that I think of is use a quicklink just to list report name and then based upon selection just send the report over mail. By this way you will be able to create and restrict use-access using dynamic scope.
