Update Lifecycle State with API not working

Hello,

I am trying to update the lifecycle-state attribute for identities by HTTP Request in a workflow. I am using this API: https://sailpoint.api.identitynow.com/v3/identities/:identity-id/set-lifecycle-state

In the documentation there is nothing about the error message I got:

set-lifecycle-state | SailPoint Developer Community

Error message: The system is currently not in a state in which it can fulfill the request.

I tried in Postman as well and I got the same error message.

I am using sandbox, and I got the list of lifecycle states from the identity-profile, but I cannot update it for a specific identity-id. Appreciate any help on this matter.

Have you tried switching to the desktop agent, in case you use web?

Yes, I am using desktop agent.

Are you pointing to the Correct ID# of the lifecycle State on the Identity Profile? Have you updated the Identity Profile and its still cooking while your trying to push this?
The system is currently not in a state in which it can fulfill the request.

@Jiovanni have you tried updating the priority of the identity profile to some lesser value (for example, if your priority was 90, make it 60), and then try updating the lifecycle state?

Thank you guys.
I tried with another identity profile and worked well. So comparing what was different between both identity profiles I noticed that in the first profile the states were disabled.
Also, before I submit this topic, I tested it with the second profile and it didn’t work either at that moment, I think it was in some updating process and I got the same issue.
