For Windows, I’m able to aggregate the domain accounts/groups when i install iqservice on the same windows host. But when I have the IQservice installed on different machine and tried to connect and aggregate a different host, I’m able to aggregate only the local users.
I’m already using the service account with local admin permissions, but It looks like there is some permission missing, Could some one please help if any additional permissions required to fix this.
I would assume the service account with local admin permissions, would need additionally to be part of the Administrators Group of that server to manage those domain account/groups : Administrator Permissions
Who is the logged in user on the machine where IQService is running? If it is not same as an Admin, then you can try changing the “Log on as” and check if it can scan all the users/groups
I tried with Logon as domain account through which installed and registered the IQservice, but still I’m able to aggregate only the local accounts. The interesting thing here is I’m able to see the domain groups present under the local group : Users, but I could not see the domain groups under local administrator group.
