Hi Everyone,

In SailPoint IDN we are getting this test connection error for every source :Timeout waiting for response to message 15 from client 85687f59-ca73-491a-a848-b4307a921b1a after 15 seconds.

All aggregations were getting failed with VA not responding error. I rebooted VA but issue wasn’t resolved but VA was in healthy state and we are able to test the connection from VA to target source using nc -zv

It would be best to collect the stunt logs and open a SailPoint support ticket for this. Virtual Appliance Troubleshooting Guide - Compass (sailpoint.com)

It might be some VA update or CCG update that might have caused the disruption.

Hi @inturh01 ,

We faced this a couple of times earlier :-

  1. If you schedule aggregation tasks on a connector during the daily refresh, this can cause issues. Example: If there are AD attribute sync events triggered due to nightly refresh and the AD aggregation is also running that time, this can come.
  2. Too much load in the VA server or target system. Example: VA configured with less CPU/RAM. or target system is not responding when many API calls are made from multiple VA’s at the same time.
  3. Network latency - the DR VA is trying to connect to a server from a different region.
