Smartsheet create operation failing

We are currently working on integrating the Smartsheet application using the out-of-the-box (OOTB) Smartsheet connector in SailPoint IdentityNow. During testing, we encountered an issue while attempting to provision a new user. The process failed with the following error:
Provisioning Error:
[ConnectorError] User not found. (requestId: a5dec0dfad214ae2867aa4a422244fdb)
Interestingly, when I checked directly in Smartsheet, the new account had been successfully created. However, SailPoint still returned a “user not found” error during provisioning.
Additional Details:

  • The test connection to Smartsheet is successful.
  • The user being provisioned did not previously exist in Smartsheet.
  • We are using the standard Smartsheet connector without customizations

Has anyone come across this issue before or successfully integrated Smartsheet with SailPoint IDN? Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @sbikal123 ,

Is SailPoint creating users with all the attributes (mainly “Account ID” attribute) correctly? Can you confirm that in target system? If yes, try to remove the “Account ID” attribute in create account policy and then try to provision the user and see what error it throws.
