Separation of Duties Policy for access request

Is there any configuration that needs to be enabled for SOD in IdentityNow? Or does it get applied by default? for access request requested from SailPoint Identity Security Cloud for Service Catalog application

It’s in the application configuration page in your ServiceNow instance. You have to pick one of these 3 options

The SoD Policy when configured and under effect will show up on the access request to the approver. With a warning message which mentions there’s an SoD policy violation and it will provide the relevant info which has been fed into the policy to the approver. But if they still go ahead and approve it SailPoint will provision the request.

Hope this information helps.

Thanks Mark, but is there any configuration that needs to be enabled on IdentityNow side to check the SOD for access request coming from ServiceNow

Is it OOTB configuration or specific to any version in ServiceNow?

Can you share the article if you have any related to this configuration?
