Search query "owns.apps.name:*" doesn't find all identities owning an app

Hello everyone,

I’ve created an app in IdentityNow, ADF 1, visible in Request Center, and I’ve tried to use it in a search, but no results are returned for it.
When I search for owns.apps.name:* other identities are returned, but not mine.
When I search specifically for it (owns.apps.name:ADF, or owns.apps.name:ADF*, or owns.apps.name:"ADF 1", or owns.apps.name:*ADF*), nothing is returned.

I’m new to IdentityNow, maybe I’m doing something wrong.

I don’t think that I’ve changed anything, but I am now able to find my Identity when I execute the query.

It is interesting, that the number of apps is listed as 0. Maybe this is because the app may have had an identical set of access profiles like another app. I’ve changed that now, it still lists 0, but maybe it takes some time for the change to propagate.

I believe applications (and other non-identity objects) are only indexed daily. That probably explains the delay you’re seeing.
