In this architecture, the UI application servers have been configured with HTTP session replication among them. Some application servers call this “session clustering”. This type of architecture is NOT SUPPORTED with IdentityIQ. All session replication features of the servlet containers (WebLogic, Jboss, Tomcat, or WebSphere) must be disabled for IdentityIQ. All session management is pushed up to the Load Balancer, which must be configured for “Server Affinity” or “Sticky Sessions” for the end-users sessions. The Load Balancer must route a user to the same UI server as long as that UI server is online and available.
