Hello. Is it possible to run the reports sequentially one after another, like how task can be executed sequentially. We found that the scheduling of reports sometimes cause multiple reports running in parallel and overwhelming our servers.

May be you need to focus on this on why the reports are overwhelming the servers
You need to pull out which reports are running in parallel and whats their average execution time.
Based on their average timings, you can change the schedule of the reports accordingly this way the servers are not busy, in addition to this, also check at the same time any tasks are running on the task servers.
Also check on the specs of task servers to see if you can increase the thread count this way task servers are fully utilised and serving all the requests.
