Hi Experts,

In Role Composition certification, we don’t see option assign governance group as remediator. Just want to check if this atleast possible through API call?

Hey @chandramohan27,

That is not possible through API also. Only an IDENTITY can be a remediator.

If you try to update the remediator as governance groups you’ll get following errors.

Referenced Identity "governance_group_id" was not found.

And

Illegal value "GOVERNANCE_GROUP" for field 
"campaign.roleCompositionCampaignInfo.remediatorRef.type".

We can’t assign the governance group as remediator through API also.
Governance groups are designed to make governance decisions about access, such as reviewing access requests or certifications. Governance groups are typically used for collective decision-making and review processes, whereas remediation ownership often requires a single point of accountability to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
