Reports out of the box on account creation, deletion, and modification

Hello everyone

I’d like to know if there’s a cash register report in IdentityIQ 8.4p2 that shows which application accounts were created or deleted within a specific time period, as well as any changes to their attributes or entitlements.

I appreciate any help you can offer.

Regards

Hi Salomon, have you had a chance to look thru the Activity Reports: User Activity Detailed Report section in the 8.4 IIQ docs (page 44)?

I’m not super savvy on 8.4p2, but I’m curious if that would be a good place to start, especially with what seems to be offered in the Additional Identity Properties section.

We offer a history plugin that creates attribute level changes and also depicts other events such as role and entitlement changes, account create/delete, etc. All of these get stored as OOTB audit events which make reporting easy.

We also have an open source reporting library that lets you run reports as SQL queries and handles parsing attributes in CLOBs.

I would look at some of the OOTB audit events in the audit config and see how far that gets you.

@jacob_islas There is no OOTB report for account creation/deletion.

Hi @jacob_islas - Since you are on 8.4 don’t forget that Access History is available if you have it setup. The reporting isn’t great from it but it has a nice UI timeline for the identities.

@jacob_islas could you please specify what kind of details you want to store and put in reports ? A sample columns with expected values should also work for me to provide better recommendation.
