Hi Sailors,
“Refresh role indexes” task is taking more than 20 hours to complete.
Always one of the task server is dedicated to run this job the whole day almost.
As this is a pre-defined task, not sure how we can speed up this task.
Result that I see, after task completion
Refresh Role Indexes - 1377 Attributes
Role Indexes refreshed - 46639
there are more than 47k bundles in the system and its going to increase in future.
What can be done to decrease the task duration ?
Hi @vinnysail did you see any new exception in syslog when this task running?

syslog exceptions are there for many other transactions, not able to check specifically when this task is running if any exceptions raised.
I am not sure but sometime, rebuild index also help in some case.

Hi @pravin_ranjan ,
At Microsoft sql server rebuild indexing is done everyday so there is no issue in that space.
Will raise a case with sailpoint and understand what else could be the issue.

Check BundleProfileRelationUpgrader is enabled during upgrade, you will see in SystemConfiguration. hoping it should not linked with your issue.

Hi @pravin_ranjan ,
This feature is disabled on the task servers as we are not using it. Will check and confirm back on the same.
