Raising request via LaunchPad

Via LaunchPad when raising the access request form via Manage access in Requested by it staking the Workflow owner name not the requester name which doesnt seems to be right as the requester couldnt able to track it.
Please advise

As “Manage Access” action uses the PAT of the Workflow owner, it automatically sets the owner as requester. Same issue if you use the API, which will set the owner of the PAT used as requester. I don’t think there is a way to change this.

I think only option is to use the Request Center for submitting the Access Requests

It looks like it’s currently not possible to set the ‘requestedBy’ field through the workflow or API.

Access Profile but in the form we have some extra attributes which are required in real time that’s the reason we are using form and cant use request center

When raising access request by default the requestBy cannot be modified and it will always be :

  • The owner of workflow when using “Manage Access”
  • The Personnal Access Token (PAT) of user that is used for making API when using API.

Yes right but the requester not having the visual of the approval due to which unable to track the request
