In SAP, Indirect Roles associated with HR Organization data can be assigned to SAP users by creating a relationship between the SAP user and the SAP employee with the 0105 infotype.

Thanks for that but isn’t the purpose of connector documentation to provide information on how to use the connector? 
If we can’t understand how to use a capability of the connector because the documentation does now detail how exactly the capability is configured, then the documentation should be fixed.
Hi Hayden, I redirected your comment in hopes of getting you an answer faster. We have a ticket on our backend to investiage ways to better display this information as a cohesive story instead of the individual parts being scattered throughout the guide. This effort will take some time.
Thanks Ryan, we still dont know how to actually use this new feature though. EmployeeID is populated on the Account, the “Provisional Position” entitlement is included in the role alongside the actual entitlement, but provisioning still fails with a message of “EmployeeID is not provided”. So I must be doing something wrong and would appreciate the documentation explain how to implement successfully.
