Profile filters - save and copy not working correctly

In NERM, wear are not able to create a new filter from an existing filter. In addition, we are not able to save filters with consistency…it is very problematic…anyone else have issues with this. We are following this document and in most cases we are not able to save a filter with in admin mode or as a dashboard view: Dashboard Filters - SailPoint Non-Employee Risk Management User Help

Hi,

Could you share some additional details about this issue? I haven’t encountered it in our sandbox tenant, and I have a customer go-live on NERM just weeks away, so would like to understand it better.

So, it doesn’t matter if I am logged in with a standard account with the sponsor and approver roles in NERM OR if I am logged in as with a privileged account as a “NERM Admin” AND…even if I am in “Admin” mode or Dashboard logged in as a NERM ADMIN, every time I try to use the function “Save As New Filter”, I get the below message, whether I am viewing the “People” or “Assignment” profile type:

When I set my filter I do see results returned:

Below is filter name:

This is the error shown in all cases, I never see any kind of success:

Below are the filters shown that have been saved and I don’t see the new one:

This same case happens if you try to use an existing SAVED filter, make an update and try to save it as a new filter.

The screenshots provided only highlight the “Assignment” profile type, but same occurs for the “People” profile type.

There are so many issues with filters, I would need a 1 hour call with SailPoint support and I don’t have time to document it all…we have a cut-over for NERM coming up soon.

Hopefully, this sheds more light on the issues.

Thanks for sharing the details, luckily, I am not seeing this error in my client sandbox tenant.

Hello Ezequiel,

First off, I am very sorry that you are experiencing these issues with the Saved Profile Filters feature. We intended this feature to make our users’ lives easier, and that certainly does not seem to be happening in this case.
This feature has been live in production for a few months. The problems you have described do not match any open defects, and they have not been observed in our testing.
I understand that going the Support route is less than desirable at this stage in your implementation, but that is going to be the best approach to properly diagnose and remedy this issue.
Thanks,
