We are planning to integrate IdentityIQ and Oracle EBS R12.2 for HRMS employee creation. We have below two questions could someone please clarify.

  1. From IIQ, can we have custom scripts to call an custom api in Oracle EBS for creating an employee
  2. In IIQ, can we modify the existing script as per the requirement we need for creating an new employee

It all depends on your requirement , pretty much sailpoint give option to call any API through multiple place holders like before provisioning rule , after provisioning rule . I would say explore the ootb connector , check if you can leverage these rules .

else you have always option to use Web service connector or SCIm connectors as long as required end points are available .

Hi Anand,
As Vishal mentioned do explore the OOTB Oracle HRMS connector offered by SailPoint which does provide most of the operations to be perfomed on the application it also comes with it’s own create account policy provisioning plan although I personally never modified it but if you have some custom requirements i recommend you to first try customizing the OOTB provisioning plan rather than utilizing some other connector as it will save you a lot of time!
