Hello,

We are upgrading to Oracle HCM connector and we were told that the initial load/aggregation needs to be done through sftp. After initial load, can the full aggregation be done through API connector in the new Oracle HCM connector or do we need to do full aggregation everytime through sftp ? We were told only delta aggregation is possible through api connector in the new oracle HCM connector. Is this true? Can you point to any documentation in this regard ?

I found this updated documentation that seems to address what you’re talking about:

Create a Separate HCM Export File (sailpoint.com)

From what I can tell this is only required for the initial data load, future aggregations can be done via the connector, however only delta aggregation is supported.

Thank you for the documentation. What is the recommendation from SailPoint on aggregation - Is it advised to a full aggregation every week using sftp server or is it Ok to do a one time upload through SFTP and there after do only delta aggregation? Our partner is advising us to have a full aggregation on weekly basis through sftp. Is this needed or can we just have delta aggregation after the intial full aggregation?
