Oracle EPM Connector - Delete User Entitlements

Hi Team,

As we have incorporated this connector in our development tenant.
We are able to to perform the Create Account , Add Entitlement. But when we try to to remove all the entitlements from the user account we are encountering an error
“Request to remove all assigned IDCS entitlements of the user was rejected”,“because this will result in deleting the user. \u0027Delete\u0027 the user to achieve the same behaviour.”.

As far as the connector does not support any disable/delete feature, Do you have alternative for the same or can you share the flow to delete the user. Is there any reason not include the disable/delete feature for this connector?

Kind Regards,
Sai Krishna L

Hi Sai! Thank you for your input. This appears to be related to using the product features. I’ve moved your comment to our ISC Discussions and Questions category for greater help from the community.

Hi @joshb488,

Thanks for your response.

There is no disable/delete feature feature for the Oracle EPM Connector, it’s not a related to Product usage issue.

How to achieve the above problem statement which I have posted in the above thread??

Kindly help us in providing the alternative for the disable/delete feature.

Kind Regards,
Sai Krishna L

Hi @sai_krishna_L ,

I hope your using Oracle EPM Cloud connector, if your using same connector this connector able disable user account, there is no feature for delete and enable account. Find below screenshot from connectors guide.

Thank You.

Hi @gogubapu,

Thanks for your response, as far as I have checked in the Connector documentation it’s was not there. Below is the snippet for your reference.

Could you please provide more details on disabling the user account or if there is any related documentation on the same.

Kind Regards,
Sai Krishna L

Yeah, regarding disable operation there is no documentation, and you may try this operation in your tenant. check whether that account is able to disable or not. if not

If this application having any global APIs, use webservice connector for remaining operations.

Thank You.

Hi @gogubapu ,

This document needs to `be corrected as SailPoint team has already confirmed that disable and enable feature is not supported for Oracle EPM cloud connector.

Thank You for your update.

Hi @sai_krishna_L
We can remove entitlements using LM revoke or certification, but we are encountering the same error while removing last entitlement.
I am thinking can we achieve this via any rule?
are you still facing this issue?

Hi @krikum,

I am still facing the issue, we don’t have rule as per my knowledge.
As per the troubleshooting guide delete the user will solve the issue, but not sure what would be the trigger for deleting an user.
