Description
SailPoint Accelerated Application Management (SAAM) is now available in the US region (AWS us-east-1), in addition to the existing EU Central (eu-central-1) region.
This unblocks US customers who previously could only be hosted in GCP Europe. US customers can now adopt SAAM with in-region data residency and lower latency, using the same capabilities already live for EU Central customers.
New Capabilities
-
US Region Availability: SAAM can now be provisioned in the AWS US East (us-east-1 / N. Virginia) region, in addition to EU Central.
-
Both setups are available in US: the App Switcher- Application Visibility portal, and the Browser Extension (BE) connector in ISC.
The browser extension (deployed via MDM: Intune / Jamf / Workspace ONE) is the single data collector, and it feeds both setups below- both now available in the US region.
Setup 1: App Switcher- Application Visibility (standalone portal)
Full SAAM experience for configuration, discovery, risk & usage analytics, and privacy controls. Shipped to production Feb 13, 2026 (EU Central).
-
In ISC, select the SailPoint Solutions Center icon (App Switcher) → Application Visibility tile.
-
Connect the Identity Provider (Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Other IdP).
-
Deploy the browser extension to endpoints via MDM (Intune / Jamf / Workspace ONE).
-
View inventories of applications, accounts, and users with risk and usage insights.
Use when: the customer wants the complete visibility/admin experience.
Setup 2: Browser Extension (BE) connector in ISC
The ISC-integrated experience (“Clarinet”). Syncs SAAM discovery + risk data into ISC’s Discovered Applications page- discovery→governance without leaving ISC. US-region connector sanity-tested under ISCAAM-898.
-
In ISC, go to Admin > Connections > Discovery Connectors.
-
Select Create Connector, choose the Browser Extension category, and select Continue.
-
Select Configure, then Start Connector Setup; review the connector name/description.
-
Run Discover (aggregation) to populate the Discovered Applications page.
-
View at Admin > Connections > Sources > Discovered Applications- with SAAM, you also see risk score, risk level, sensitivity, exposure, and account columns.
Use when: the customer lives in ISC and wants to govern discovered apps in place (access reviews, certifications, onboarding).
This release features:
-
SAAM hosted in AWS US East (us-east-1) for US customers.
-
Full Application Visibility portal via the SailPoint App Switcher.
-
Browser Extension connector in ISC surfacing discovered apps with risk, sensitivity, exposure, and credential/MFA signals.
-
A direct path from discovery to governance within ISC.
Who is affected?
New Customers.
&
