:bangbang: Net new SailPoint Slack SaaS, Zoom SaaS, and Atlassian Suite SaaS Connectors in Identity Security Cloud!

We are super excited to announce the rolled out of new SailPoint SaaS connectors - Slack SaaS, Zoom SaaS, and Atlassian Suite SaaS. These SaaS Connectors do not require a Virtual Appliance to run and provide SaaS-SaaS connectivity for Slack SaaS, Zoom SaaS, and Atlassian Suite systems.

What is the Problem?

There is no way to connect and manage Slack SaaS, Zoom SaaS, and Atlassian Suite SaaS systems without a virtual appliance.

What is the Solution?

As a part of our accelerating strategic connectors in SaaS connectivity goal, these new connectors are released which will provide the seamless and secure connection to these systems without any virtual appliance.

Slack SaaS Connector

  • The SailPoint Slack SaaS connector securely connects with the Slack system and provides governance capabilities for the users of the system.
  • High-level capabilities:
    • Account Management
      • Full Account Aggregation and Refresh Accounts
      • Account Aggregation Filters
      • Create Slack Accounts
      • Enable, Disable Account
      • Change Password
      • Add/Removal of Groups
      • Add/Removal of Channels
      • Access certifications (certification of entitlements connected to accounts)
    • Group Management
      • Aggregation of User Groups and Channels

Zoom SaaS Connector

  • The SailPoint Zoom SaaS connector securely connects to Zoom and provides governance capabilities for the users in the Zoom system.
  • High-level capabilities:
    • Account Management
      • Manage Zoom users as Accounts
      • Aggregation, and Refresh Accounts
      • Create and update Accounts
      • Enable and disable Accounts
      • Change Password
      • Add and remove Entitlements
      • Access certifications (certification of entitlements connected to accounts)
    • Entitlement Management
      • Manage Zoom Web Groups as Entitlements

Atlassian Suite SaaS Connector

  • The SailPoint Atlassian Suite SaaS connector securely connects to Atlassian Suite Cloud and provides governance capabilities for users and groups in the Atlassian user store.
  • High-level capabilities:
    • Account Management
      • Load and provision Atlassian Suite users as Accounts
      • Aggregation, and Refresh Accounts
      • Enable and disable Accounts
      • Add and remove Entitlements
      • Multiple Group Objects and Direct Permissions
      • Access certifications (certification of entitlements connected to accounts)
    • Entitlement Management
      • Manage Groups and Project Roles as Entitlements

  • If you are already using a VA based Connectors for these system, then there won’t be any changes or impact to it.

How are these new SaaS Connectors different from the previous “cloud” connectors? Should we transition to the SaaS versions or do they provide the same functionality?

Hi @ajtardio, there is no differences in terms of features and I already mentioned that, if you are already using the VA based connectors, then there is no impact and you don’t need to transition to these SaaS connectors but it is upto your choice and requirement that whether you wants to use these SaaS connectors or not. These SaaS connectors are developed using our SaaS platform connectivity that does not require a Virtual appliance cluster to run and provides seamless connectivity as a SaaS connector.
