SailPoint Accelerated Application Management - New Discovery Connectors

:sparkles: Description

New discovery connector for Privileged Access Management (PAM): CyberArk Shared Services SaaS.

:red_exclamation_mark: Problem

PAM (Privileged Access Management) systems contain some of the most reliable and continuously updated evidence of what applications are active within an enterprise environment β€” yet most organizations treat PAM purely as an access control tool rather than a discovery asset. The absence of a PAM-driven application discovery mechanism means privileged pathways exist to applications that the organization cannot see, cannot govern, and cannot protect. A structured approach is needed to systematically extract, correlate, and act on the application intelligence embedded within PAM systems β€” closing the gap between privileged access management and enterprise application governance.

:light_bulb: Solution

To close the gap between privileged access management and enterprise application governance, SailPoint introduces a new Privileged Access Management (PAM) discovery connector for CyberArk Shared Services SaaS. This connector discovers privileged applications directly from PAM systems, enabling organizations to identify and prioritize critical applications for onboarding and governance.

Subject: Known CyberArk Groups API issue

Hi Deepesh,

Exciting to see the new PAM Discovery Connector for CyberArk Shared Services SaaS.

I wanted to raise a related issue with the existing CyberArk Privilege Cloud Shared Services connectors (SaaS and VA-based) documented at: Troubleshooting
acknowledges two known issues:

  1. CyberArk Groups API for User association doesn’t work properly when Org is assigned to Groups.
  2. CyberArk Groups API for User association doesn’t work when Groups are hierarchical (Parent-Child) relationship.

The note states: β€œThese are known issues and will be fixed in an upcoming CyberArk Release.”

Is the fix for these known issues included in or planned alongside this March 2026 release?

Any guidance on timeline or workarounds would be greatly beneficial to the community.

Thanks!
