NERM- Set Any End Date <90 days Throwing validation error

Hello Folks

I am encountering an issue when setting the end date to less than 90 days from today. Currently, no validations are functioning as expected. The only available validation is based on the number of days, which provides just two options and does not meet the actual business requirement.

Example:

  • Expected End Date: 30‑07‑2026

  • Current End Date: 20‑04‑2026

Requirement:
When a manager updates the end date, the system should allow any date that is less than 90 days from today.

Current Behavior:
The workflow fails whenever the manager selects an end date that is less than 90 days, and it only allows an end date that is exactly 90 days from today, which is incorrect.

Hi Dev,

The Operator before the days number entry controls if you are lookig for Less than, equal to or more than.

In your first screenshot, you have “=” - so it will validate if the date entered is ‘equal to’ 90 days in the future (“from today”).

In your second screenshot, you have “>” - so it will validate if the date entered is “more than” 1 days in the future (“from today”)

If you want the User to only be able to enter a date within the next 90 days, you would want to set this validation to " < 90 days from today " . That would mean the system would validate that an entered value is less than 90 days in the future.
