Hi Experts,
I’m working on an automation source creation via NERM where the profile type is set to “person, assignment”. Currently, this setup creates a single source where both person and assignment data reside together.
However, our requirement is a bit different:
The person data should be part of an authoritative source used to create identities.
The assignment data should come from a non-authoritative source, where the accounts need to be correlated with the identities created in the people (authoritative) source.
Has anyone configured this type of setup before — where person and assignment are split across two sources (auth and non-auth), and correlation is established between them?
Would appreciate any guidance or best practices on how to achieve this through NERM or via SailPoint support tools.
The person and assignments should be two different profile type to meet the best practices of NERM, then each profile type can be aggregated alone.
If they are not split, you can aggregate them by including the data of each one in the schema of the source and use two NERM connectors
But as I said you should use two diiferent profile type in NERM one for Person and the other for assignment. And keep in mind that you sould have a common attribute value to do the correlation.
