NERM Attribute Permissions Bug?

Good Afternoon Nerm Experts,

We are experiencing a permission issue in the Profile view. The attributes are not updating to allow edit access as expected.

When navigating to Admin > Templates > Attributes > [Desired Attribute] > Permissions, toggling a role’s permission to Edit should enable the pencil icon in the Profile view. However, this is not happening. Even after setting the desired role permission to Edit, the attribute remains in Read Only mode.

As a test, I changed the admin permissions from Edit to Read Only, and the change applied correctly after a page refresh. Changing it back to Edit also worked as expected. However, for the affected roles, switching the permission to Edit does not update the attribute to become editable in the Profile view.

Any thoughts would help a ton.

Confirm proper role(s) on the account
Perhaps confirm they are a contributor via Individual or Role

Also, check the form if it is Read Only or not

The role on the account matches the adjusted permission selection under the permissions tab of the attribute. They are not a contributor via the individual or role. The form is also not read only. Any other thoughts?

Could you show a screenshot?

If you are in a collaboration portal, it doesn’t do a pencil icon by the attributes. It instead adds a button to the top right of the profile page/form with “Edit”.
