Hi @ayadav_12 want to clarify your requirements. You need to create ~7000 workgroups, then update your entitlements with the proper workgroup as the owner and any other info correct? How do you plan to manage the workgroup memberships?

Hi Ryan,

we have the list to update the current membership and for the future there’s a quicklink which can update the existing entitlement along with workgroup.

hi @amit_1140

Do you have all the data about the workgroup that needs to be created or every workgroup data is dynamic based on entitlement name and other details ?

Let me know , based on this, I can suggest approaches to do this. As I have done this in my project.

Thanks

So the process that we are using doing something like this is

1 - create a csv file with entitlement name and owners names

2 - create a workgroup with same entitlement name ex: group01

3 - add owners to the new workgroup

4 - get the manage entitlement and set the owner to the same name workgroup.

now the ownership of the entitlement is set to the workgroup with the same name.

Hi Manish,

Yes, i have the data i need to create bulk workgroup along with members in it. Please help

Rule-standalone-csvimporter-entitlements.xml (9.6 KB)

TaskDefinition-ImportEntitlements.xml (1.5 KB)

try looking at this, run it . I just wrote it so it might have some bugs but it should do the job.

csv import would be the best way if you have the data in hand.
