Hi Team,

I am looking for “Multi-Step Serial Approval of Access Request” workflow which should be provided in the workflow templates. Do you find in your tenants? If so, can someone please share the JSON.

Multi-level Approvals for Access Requests is OOTB functionality and you should not have to use a workflow for this, but should be able to configure the approval schema of the access items.

Do you have any reason you are considering the Workflow route for this?

Hi @iamnithesh

We have a requirement of dynamic approvals to be set based on user’s identity attributes.

Ex: If user’s department is IT, approval of certain application should be Manager + IT Admin. For other users whose department is not IT, the application/access approvals should be only Manager.

Let me know if there is any other way to configure it rather than the Workflows and also confirm if you see “Multi-Step Serial Approval of Access Request” workflow template in yourtenants?

Hi @sgeddam003!

I believe you are looking for the workflow Adaptive Approvals mentioned in this post. According to the bottom of the post, “Atlas Enterprise features are available for add-on purchase for Business and Business Plus customers. Please contact your CSM for more information!” So it looks like it is an additional cost to have these templates/triggers/actions enabled and you can reach out to your CSM for more info.
