Hello Everyone,

I am trying to create a merge import for audit config and below is the xml file for the same. But when I try to import it in sailpoint, though the audit actions gets merged the AuditClass “Identity” is not getting merged. I removed the entry for AuditClass “Identity” in the original file in sailpoint. After that when I tried importing the file, the entry for Identity is getting merged. This AuditClass Identity tag will be present OOTB in the audit config. Not sure why this is happening. Can anyone please provide their valuable insight?

Welcome to the community!

This is a somewhat unknown nuance that has been going on for at least half a decade. Perhaps your CSM might be able to find out what happened to IIQETN-207.

The last post suggests manually configuring it in the target environment so that your setting will persist through future deployments.
