Managing Lifecycle Workflows - SailPoint Non-Employee Risk Management Admin Help

Lifecycle workflows allow you to create and update profiles. Each workflow can have a series of actions added to it to meet your business needs. Review the types of workflows and how to manage them below.

This is the companion discussion topic for the documentation at https://documentation.sailpoint.com/ne-admin/help/workflows/lc-workflow-types.html

I feel like the section ‘Conditions’ can be clarified a bit more. I believe you can use either request attributes and profile attributes to configure a condition. This is not mentioned in the documentation. Furthermore, when using profile attributes, it’s not clear how this works in my experience.
Can you only use the profile attributes for which you are configuring a workflow?
Or can you use attributes of all profiles.
How will you configure the condition to know for which profile to evaluate the condition?

Furthermore there are special conditions you can select like ‘profile present’ and ‘profile not present’.
How do these work?
Is this meant to be used following a duplication check?

It seems there’s some missing information there.
