Within our company we make use of an Self-Service Portal for our colleagues at which we explain several application as offered by IT. From there, for access we forward them to the request center.
We would like to make sure that within an certain application, the application they need to access directly is included in their request package, eg that if they click on the Request button they don’t enter on the home-page on the request center, but directly to a point like this:
Hi @sni_rz ,
At present, ISC doesn’t support deep linking directly to a specific requestable item (such as an application, role, or entitlement) within the Request Center. Users are generally directed to the Request Center landing page, where they can search for and request the desired access.
The deep links available for IdentityIQ/Access Request Manager don’t apply to ISC’s Request Center.
As a workaround, you could:
Link users directly to the Request Center and use clear naming/categories so the requested item is easy to find.
If you’re using a custom self-service portal, consider leveraging the ISC Access Request APIs to build a tailored request experience that initiates requests for specific items.
This is a common enhancement request, but there is currently no native capability to deep link to a specific request package in the ISC Request Center. If this functionality is important for your organization, you may want to submit it as an enhancement request through the SailPoint Ideas portal.
