Identity Security Cloud collects information about your users' system accounts and their associated access so they can be governed. Once you configure a source, you can manage how your data is aggregated, or loaded, in your environment.
When discussing the “Account Delete Threshold” value for the aggregation of direct connectors, there is a note in the documentation
that states:
The percentage must be an integer between 1 and 100. If the deletions exceed this value, no accounts will be deleted. SailPoint recommends using this option to avoid removing user data in the event of a misconfiguration.
There is no documentation on how you are supposed to be able to add it if you need a value that is higher (through the Beta or V2024 API is the answer.) This should be updated to discuss those options.
We have some substantial changes to that page in the works that should address that concern. I’ll make sure to add your feedback to that ongoing work to make sure we’ve covered it.
We did some checking and you can type the number you need in that field–so while the dropdown only displays up to 20%, you can enter any number you need.
We’ll still be updating that page soon and will make that clearer, but hopefully this helps you with any immediate needs.
If you can enter either a static number or a percentage, that should be clarified as well (I assume it isn’t since the application config behind this stores it just as a number)
It does add the percentage sign when you click save.
It may be better if the Percent sign was not part of the field display (and added after the save) but rather was part of the description text.
NOTE: It would be awesome if there was an option to enter a static number of accounts OR a percentage. I think that idea goes to a different group though.
