Issue with SFTP File Transfer and Data Retention in IIQ 8.4

Hi Everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with writing data to an SFTP file in IIQ 8.4. Each day, I transfer this file to a shared location, then replace it with an empty file containing only headers. After the transfer completes, I see the empty file as expected. However, when I attempt to write new data to this file, it unexpectedly pulls in the old, cleared data along with the new entries.

Has anyone else faced this issue, or can anyone suggest a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Using the same kind of logic mentioned in the below post

Thanks,

Hi @Saikiran25,

how do you write this file? and which connector type are you using?

Hi @ennistri
We have implemented the SQL Loader connector in SailPoint to streamline data management. A provisioning rule has been developed to write data to a file, and a run rule is being used to automate file transfers from the server to SFTP."
