We are trying to provision ServiceNow accounts with the manager’s email.
We have been created the name, location and manager fields.
The employee identity has a custom field called Manager Email which collects the manager’s email and uses a transform for it.
In the create profile of the ServiceNow connector we mapped the manager attribute to the Manager Email attribute of the identity but it is always empty.
but the case is that if we map it from name if it picks up the value correctly, we have also tested in location and it returns the value empty.
It seems that it only works with name but not with location or manager, and in principle the three fields were created in the same way.
After creating & mapping the Identity attributes, did you perform Identity profile update? If not, please update the Identity profile. Once the Identity profile is updates, the values will be displayed in the mapped attributes & can be used in create profile.
We are dealing with this exact issue. Manager, plus a few additional custom fields. Checked API, Create Profile settings, ID Profile settings, litterally everything we could on the IDN side. We asked our Snow admin to check the mappings on their side. Would you mind telling me what the issue was on the ServiceNow side? Thanks -
