IAI Harvester or Privileged Cluster?

Is there a difference between IAI Harvester Cluster or Privileged Cluster? Few months back I was seeing Privileged Cluster as an option for the type while creating a new VA cluster, where as now it shows IAI Harvester

They changed those configuration steps. Harvester I believe is only used for IdentityIQ environments that have AI features enabled. Now the standard VA type for ISC just has different “components” you can enable, rather than completely separate cluster types which is a positive change. See updated doc here: Deploying Virtual Appliances - SailPoint Identity Services

The one issue I found though is that clusters defined before this unannounced change do not have the component options when you go to edit the cluster. I’ve had to create a new cluster and repair the VA to it for these options. Perhaps there is a change that can be done via API to get it to show up on existing clusters, not sure.

Thanks @patrickboston
I don’t see the cluster components option in my demo tenant, which means we will not be able to test the new feature to run the PS scripts from Workflows. I don’t understand why do we have IAI Harvester that is meant for clients having IIQ implemented.

@iamnithesh my dev/demo tenant has the features available, but it required me to create a new cluster because of the new default type I guess. Older clusters are type default which does not seem to expose the new component options. Any new cluster defined is standard which has the component options.

I tried to PATCH the cluster type from default to standard on my older cluster but the response said that is an illegal action.

Awesome!!! it worked!!!
