I’m running SailPoint IdentityIQ on my MacBook (M4, Apple Silicon) — Tomcat, SQL, and everything are fully set up and working.
My Active Directory is hosted on an AWS EC2 Windows Server instance.

Since IQService is a Windows-only component, what’s the best way to use it for AD integration from my macOS environment?

Can I connect SailPoint on my Mac directly to AWS AD, or do I need to set up a separate Windows machine (local VM or EC2) just to host IQService?
If yes, what’s the simplest configuration approach?

Hi Yash,

You can install IQService on any windows server instance including your AWS AD. Of course only for development purposes.

You have already mentioned that your AD is hosted on AWS EC2. Connect to the AD and install IQService over there. After configuration is done. Provide the configuration settings in IIQ that is hosted on your mac.
