How To Force Comments on Revoke Action in Access Review

Is it possible to configure “require comments” on access request “revoke” actions in IdN? I’ve done it in IIQ, hoping this capability was ported forward.

IIQ version for reference
How To Force Comments on Revoke Action in Access Review - Compass (sailpoint.com)

Hi Jason,

This is actually the default behavior – in IdentityNow, the access profile and role configuration pages have this note next to the “Revoke Access Approval Process”: Requests to revoke access require a comment. To require comments when a revoke request is denied, select the When Approver Denies checkbox in the Access Request Approval Process section

Thanks,
Lisa Ivy

Sorry, my last message was in regards to submitting an access request for revoking access from a user… looking at your subject again, I believe you were talking about revocation based on a decision in a certification access review. In certifications, certifiers have the option to comment when they approve or revoke an item. I don’t know if you can require certifiers to comment when they choose revoke… I’ll let look into and respond.

Hi @questjj - I confirmed IdentityNow does not have a feature to require certifiers to comment when they choose “revoke” on an access review. If you’d like, you can submit this as a product enhancement request… please follow the instructions here: How To: Submit an Idea - Compass

Thats what I figured, but thought I’d check. Thanks for verifying. I’ll submit an Idea.
