How can I manage account_correlation_config via REST API?

We are working to automate source creation via REST APIs.
However, I couldn’t find the API for managing ACCOUNT_CORRELATION_CONFIG which is part of Source Definition Payload.
I think we can create account correlation rules instead and use these, but would like to know how we can retrieve/update account_correlation_configs.

The sources API allows you to update the manager correlation, but not the account correlation at this time. Please see this post for more information: Account Correlation API (ACCOUNT_CORRELATION_CONFIG) - #3 by colin_mckibben.

So, I understand we cannot fully automate source creation. (i.e. we’ll always need to change the correlation config via the UI, if we don’t use default correlation)

Is it worth creating an idea for this, or it is already in plan to include it in an API?

@colin_mckibben - Is this feature available/planned to make it availble anytime soon? I am also looking for the same feature of user-account correlation via API’s
