Hello Team,
I am currently working on onboarding multiple PostgreSQL applications into SailPoint IdentityIQ using the JDBC connector. Since all databases share a common schema and configuration structure, I am looking for an efficient approach to perform bulk application onboarding rather than configuring each application manually through the UI.
I have already prepared an Excel sheet that includes key configuration fields such as application name, JDBC URL, credentials, driver class, test connection SQL, and account aggregation queries. My goal is to generate multiple application objects in IdentityIQ automatically from this dataset.
Could you please advise on the recommended and supported method for bulk onboarding of applications? Specifically, I would appreciate guidance on any of the following:
-
Converting bulk configuration data into Application XML format for import.
-
Any utilities, scripts, or API usage that SailPoint recommends for automated application creation.
-
Best practices and limitations (for example, how many applications can be onboarded safely in a single import batch).
Any reference documentation, examples, or community insights would be very helpful.
Thank you in advance for your support.
Regards,
Ishita
