Enhancement: MySailPoint Widget for Execution History

In Identity Security Cloud, MySailPoint now offers dashboard widgets so you can see workflow execution history at a glance without digging through admin screens first.

When you sign in to SailPoint, you land on the home page, and your MySailPoint dashboard is the first thing you see. Use the pencil (or Edit) control on the dashboard to customize it, then add the new Workflow execution widgets alongside your other cards. You can also create a new dashboard using the Workflows Dashboard Template which includes all Workflows Widgets.

What You Need to Know

  • Four widgets are available. Two daily widgets and two historical widgets:

    1. Daily execution for the tenant: Overall execution activity for your organization, excluding loop executions.

    2. Daily execution count for individual workflows: Per-workflow counts, including loops executions.

    3. Historical execution for the tenant: pairs with the tenant daily widget (a).

    4. Historical execution for individual workflows: pairs with the per-workflow daily widget (b).

  • This widget is for informational purposes so you have visibility into your Workflows from the MySailPoint dashboard. It does not change how you interact with your Workflows

  • You choose whether to use them. If you do not to edit your dashboard or use the new dashboard template, you will not see the widgets until you add them.

Problem

Teams want a fast, everyday place to answer simple questions: How much are we executing? Which workflows are busiest? How does today compare to recent history? Jumping through separate areas for each check slows down monitoring and makes it harder to share a consistent “first screen” view across admins.

Solution

MySailPoint exposes Workflow execution widgets you can place on your personal dashboard. Pick the daily or historical view that matches whether you care about tenant-wide totals or per-workflow counts.

Action recommended: Edit your MySailPoint dashboard and add the widgets that match how you monitor executions.
